Panopticon
This series dives into the unseen forces that shape how we live, from the moment we’re born to when we grow up. It's about those invisible "watchtowers" of society — the constant feeling that we’re being watched, even when no one is physically there. The works use tight, confined spaces and intense, almost camera-like lighting to explore how we start to internalize those outside gazes, becoming both the prisoner and the warden of our own actions. The claustrophobic settings, paired with bold, saturated colors, create this strange mix of feeling trapped and overly exposed, much like the panopticon itself — a system that controls by making us feel constantly visible. "Panopticon" asks viewers to think about the systems of surveillance we’re all part of and question how much of our autonomy is real and how much is just us performing for an audience that may or may not even exist.
